Our mission is to provide opportunities for people of all ages to discover and enjoy Lake Superior's beautiful shoreline in an eco-friendly manner.
Dog-Paddle Kayaks is a small business with a fleet of 18 kayaks and 4 Stand Up Paddleboards. We opened in June of 2008. This green business was created to encourage participation in silent sports in the Chequamegon Bay area. We rent kayaks and SUP's from late May to early October each year. Chequamegon Bay is a shallow, protected bay that provides a safe environment for beginning paddlers. Each rental includes a kayak or SUP, PFD, paddle, dry bag, safety whistle, and brief instruction. Our kayaks and paddleboards are meant to be paddled near shore and are not designed for travel over large expanses of open water.
